Job Description

 

Individual will be responsible for leading a highly skilled team which includes our Proposal Manager, Solutions Engineers, and Security Analyst.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Works with Product Management on feature enhancement requests generated from the Sales Team.

·         Participates in proposal activities including gap analysis, bid/no bid decision, and proposal review.

·         Coordinates support of third party auditing agency and internal resources for security accreditations.

·         Provides technical support for company tradeshows.

·         Presents monthly status reports to the Senior Leadership Team.

·         Provides regular coaching and assistance as well as annual reviews to Solutions Team Members.

·         Coordinates off-site and on-site Solutions Engineering support for the Sales Team. 

·         Communicates company goals to Solutions team so every employee understands his/her role.

·         Collaborates with Engineering and QA on third party integrations and qualifications.

·         Provide input into the company’s security and commercial proposal strategy.

 

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s Degree or any combination of experience and education that best represents the required knowledge and skills for this position

·         A minimum of 7 years of hands-on work experience working with both Sales and Engineering teams.

·         Should be able to transform the ideas of management and implement appropriate solutions in the organization.

·         Excellent written/verbal communications and interpersonal skills.

·         Familiarity with phone, windows network, radio and wireless communication interfaces and protocols, & experience with security system products, preferred.

·         Must be a self-starter with strong team and leadership skills, and,

·         Must have a customer focus and view of the team from the big picture/customer experience. 

·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·         Ability to manage and motivate Solutions Team to reach their maximum level of productivity and to meet their career objectives.

·         Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in addition to correlational statistics.

·         Ability to develop innovative ideas which result in the creation of new methods, services or products.

·         Experience and conversant in Proposal activities.
